Surprise! The Metaverse was not just invented by Mark Zuckerberg. The Metaverse has existed since the end of the last century. With some successful experiences, others not so much, we have lived with it for a long time. Two of these successful experiments were Second Live and its open source sibling, Opensimulator.
And today literally anyone with a reasonably good computer can have their own Grid OS. Tools like Dreamgrid, for example, make it entirely transparent, using almost entirely graphical windows, configuring a server, and creating regions.
Volterra has, in principle, six regions dedicated to the roleplay of the sect of the Goddess Velathri and her Sisters. It was Velathri who bestowed on men the knowledge of sexual practice for the completion of the eternal soul.

Volterra is a dream. Four friends who met in Second Life in the early years of the 21st century, with a lot of experience accumulated in RP, decided to team up to create an entirely new Roleplay.
The chosen theme brings together deities similar to those of the early times of human civilization, with a libertarian approach and lived in current times. It is the worship of the Goddess Velathri and her Sisters.
At the beginning, as in every cult, the one who arrives in Volterra accepts the position of Postulant. After some tasks, he definitively joins the sect as an Apprentice.Through various trials, tasks and missions, the Initiate climbs to positions in the hierarchical scale of the Priesthood of the Goddess.
